Congratulations to Brian Gaffney, Head Professional from Rumson Country Club, winner of the 2013 New Jersey Section Match Play Championship, presented by The PGA TOUR, Greg Norman Collection, Golf Pride and Golf Max.  Gaffney would win his final match at Liberty National Golf Club, with a 4&3 victory over Mark Yannotta, to capture the first major of 2013.  Pictured with Gaffney is Golf Max/Golf Pride representative, Mike Sierchio.

Senior Open at Navesink

Navesink Country Club is celebrating their 50th anniversay and is doing so in grand fashion. After playing host to the 2013 MGA Senior Amateur May 6th & 7th, they are now playing host to the NJ Senior Open May 13th & 14th. Players are being tested with cool and windy conditions.

Herb Graffis Award Presented to New Jersey Section

The New Jersey Section was recently presented with the 2012 Herb Graffis Award for their efforts in player development and growth of the game initiatives over the course of the past year. The award was presented at the PGA of America's Annual Meeting which was held on Saturday, November 10th at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor where Past President Bryan Jones accepted the award from PGA of America President Allen Wronowski.
