The top five finishers earn full-status for the 2019 season, while competitors who are sixth through 30th are eligible to compete in open qualifiers at co-sponsored PGA Tour Champions events.

Esposito competed on the PGA Tour Champions with full-status in 2015 after earning medalist honors in the final stage that year.

Last year, the 55-year-old from Old Bridge, New Jersey, was exempt into the final stage of PGA Tour Champions qualifying after winning his second Senior PGA Professional Championship (2014, 2017), but withdrew due to an injury.

In 2018, Esposito claimed his third New Jersey Senior Open. Last month, Esposito qualified for the 2019 Senior PGA Championship by finishing inside the top 35 at the Senior PGA Professional Championship.
