A trio of local PGA Professionals will be competing in ths week's Senior PGA Championship presented by Kitchen Aid being contested at the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, MO. Trump National Golf Club's Bill Britton leads the way and is joined by Rockaway River's Greg Baker and North Jersey Country Club's Chris Dachisen. Congratulations to Brian Gaffney, Head Professional from Rumson Country Club, winner of the 2013 New Jersey Section Match Play Championship, presented by The PGA TOUR, Greg Norman Collection, Golf Pride and Golf Max.  Gaffney would win his final match at Liberty National Golf Club, with a 4&3 victory over Mark Yannotta, to capture the first major of 2013.  Pictured with Gaffney is Golf Max/Golf Pride representative, Mike Sierchio.

Senior Open at Navesink

Navesink Country Club is celebrating their 50th anniversay and is doing so in grand fashion. After playing host to the 2013 MGA Senior Amateur May 6th & 7th, they are now playing host to the NJ Senior Open May 13th & 14th. Players are being tested with cool and windy conditions.
